Eden Home
Services and history
In 2011, we started with a feeding program at a dump site. Feeding homeless, abandoned children 2-3 times a week was not enough, we did not see any significant impact or change in these little lives. They still came back starved in a couple of days and had no education. We wanted to do more, not just filling up empty bellies. Eden Home Orphanage was officially established in 2012.
Besides providing the children with a loving home environment, we believe education can and will break the vicious cycle of poverty. The Eden children can stay together with their siblings and have a chance to grow up with peace and joy, not worrying if they will freeze to death during -40-degree nights or if they will have food to eat tomorrow. We help the children to process the pain of rejection, abandonment, suffering, and trauma they have been through before coming to Eden Home.
Eden Home is for children who are too old to be adopted and do not want to be separated from their siblings. It is set up as a big family home, our caregivers are like their parents.
We are excited to see the improvements and academic achievements our children are accomplished. Once their future was blick but now we can smile at their destiny because it's full of bright promises.
